How does the PaderTicket work?
The PaderTicket can commence any day of the month. For this, the order must reach us two weeks before the first day of validity. Then, the subscription will run for at least 12 months. If it is not cancelled, it will automatically renew for another month. You will receive your tokens every three months via mail (approximately on the 15th of the previous month). Please put the tokens on your ticket each month to show its validity. For this, affix the token on the appropriate place on the ticket the first day of each month.
Where can I purchase the PaderTicket?
You can order the PaderTicket online or purchase it in our customer center at the Kamp. Alternatively, you could also print out the order form, fill it out and send it via mail to PaderSprinter GmbH, Barkhauser Straße 6, 33106 Paderborn or hand it in personally in our customer center at the Kamp.
Can any person purchase the PaderTicket?
Yes, everyone is eligible for the purchase of a PaderTicket. However, the contractor must be at least 18. The age of the ticket holder may differ.
While processing your subscription request, we will gather information about your credit rating and the credit rating of the account holder from a credit agency. On a negative credit rating, we are not obliged to grant the subscription request.
What do the price levels 1H and 0H mean?
You can purchase the PaderTicket at various price levels so it better fits your use of our buses. The PaderTicket Basis is available at the price level 1H (valid in the Paderborn urban area). The PaderTicket Premium is available at the price level 0H (valid in either the inner or outer area of Paderborn) and 1H (valid in the Paderborn urban area).
What is the difference between a personal and a transferable ticket?
A personal PaderTicket will always be issued to the ticket holder and may only be used by them. If you choose the transferable option, you can also give the ticket to friends and family. Due to the transferability however, upon ticket inspection and no present ticket, the increased transportation charge becomes due instead of a small processing fee.
You can also order the PaderTicket for another person, which will receive the ticket for further use (differing ticket holder).
Is there a price difference between the personal and the transferable PaderTicket?
You can purchase the PaderTicket Premium as either a personal or transferable ticket. There is no price difference.
When will the account be charged for the PaderTicket?
The sum for the PaderTicket will be charged on the 6th of each month.
When are the tokens being sent?
For your PaderTicket, you will receive your tokens every three month via mail (approximately on the 15th of the previous month). Please put the tokens on your ticket each month to show its validity. For this, affix the token on the appropriate place on the ticket the first day of each month.
Important: Should you not have received your tokens within the aforementioned time, please contact us immediately.
When can the PaderTicket be cancelled?
The contract can be cancelled upon expiry of the minimum contract term. The cancellation must reach us at least 21 days before the end of the last month of validity of the minimum contract term (incoming mail stamp). After expiry of the minimum contract term, the PaderTicket can be cancelled towards the end of every month of validity. This cancellation too must reach us at least 21 days before the end of the month of validity (incoming mail stamp) at the end of which the subscription shall be cancelled. You can, of course, also cancel before the end of the regular contract term. In this case, the price difference between the subscription price and the price of the respective 30-days ticket from single sale for the past subscription period will be charged. The amount of the supplementary payment must not be higher than the remaining sum for fulfillment of the contract period. A processing fee can also be charged. This cancellation must also reach us at least 21 days before the end of the current month of validity (incoming mail stamp).
What happens upon loss of the PaderTicket?
Should you ever have lost your PaderTicket, we will issue a replacement ticket. This will cost 7,00 €. Please bring all remaining tokens that you have received so we can replace those as well. This is because your new ticket will have a new ticket number. For the subscription to be valid, the number on the ticket and on the tokens must be identical. For every lost (or rather new) token, we charge 15,00 € for a PaderTicket Basis and 20,00 € for the PaderTicket Premium.
What if the bus trip extends further than the Paderborn urban area?
The PaderTicket is valid either in the inner or outer areas of Paderborn (price level 0H) or within the entire Paderborn urban area (price level 1H). If you leave the Paderborn urban area, you will have to purchase either an Extension ticket or a GoFurtherTicket Westphalia.
With a PaderTicket, can I also use buses of other transportation companies?
The PaderTicket is valid for bus trips within the Paderborn urban area. Therefore, you can also use it for trips with other transportation companies.
Furthermore, the PaderTicket is also valid for train rides within the urban area. If you leave the Paderborn urban area, you will have to purchase either an Extension ticket or a GoFurtherTicket Westphalia.
Can I also use the Night Bus with the PaderTicket?
With both the PaderTicket Basis and Premium, you can also use the Night Bus free of charge. You do not have to pay the Night Bus surcharge.
What to do if my personal information has changed?
If your personal information has changed, please inform us about the new information immediately. Any changes can be considered for the first day of a month of validity as long as you inform us about the changes until the 15th of the previous month.
Any changes in the account requires presentation of a SEPA direct debit mandate from the account holder.
Can the subscription be interrupted for vacation, sickness or loss?
Should you not use your PaderTicket due to vacation, sickness or loss, this does not constitute an interruption in the subscription contract. There will be no reimbursement of fares due to not using the subscription.
